Datum Electronics manufacture a number of torque transducers, sensors and instrumentation. Although this will accurately measure on-shaft torque an indicator is required to display torque; or torque, speed and power.
When you are receiving the torque data, there are a number of things that you can do with that data. Depending upon what your requirements are will dictate the type of instrumentation you need.
If you are looking at monitoring torque, speed and power in a typical 19” rack mounted setup then the Type 370 is the option for you. If you only require the torque signal to be monitored then the Type 300 digital indicator is designed for this purpose. If you are requiring a Load measuring device to work in the field, then our robust handheld indicators fit those requirements.
Increasingly popular, is the option to output the torque data and read it via a PC or laptop. TorqueLog software has been designed for this type of application and allows the user to not only read the torque data, but also log and record the data for future analysis.
